These courses are for beginners wanting to learn German. The participants must be at least 16 years old, have completed a minimum of 8 years schooling, and must be familiar with the Latin alphabet.
Having reached language level A2, you are able to participate in everyday conversation.
The participants are able to follow conversations in everyday situations and answer simple questions.
Everyday topics: introducing yourself, shopping, traveling, working, talking about body and health. The courses introduce the most important grammar and basic vocabulary of the German language. The skills, listening, speaking, reading and writing are equally focused on.
A1: 2 quarters at 10 weeks
A2: 2 quarters at 10 weeks
Each quarter consists of 112.5 hours of lessons.
One quarter at the elementary level costs CHF 1680, excluding CHF 20 to 90 for books and learning material.
The Elementary 4 ends with the HDS-Certificate. The final exam costs are included in the course fee. The HDS is a telc Test Center, allowing us to offer the corresponding international certificates. For information regarding telc test fees, please contact the office.
